Joy Organics products are created with proprietary strains of hemp known for their high CBD content. Hemp is grown organically on Colorado farms without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals. Farmers cultivate this hemp under strict guidelines and state-of-the-art farming practices that are said to enhance the quality of their naturally rich proprietary strains.
After harvest, plants are dried and stored. When needed for production, plant material is made into a coarse powder and shipped to the Joy Organics’ processing facility in Colorado. Joy Organics uses supercritical CO2 extraction to ensure that naturally-occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are preserved during the extraction process. Oil is then distilled to separate the hemp extract from the ethanol used during extraction.
Joy Organics takes the extraction process a step further by removing all traces of THC from their hemp extract. The result is a broad spectrum oil containing all of hemp’s beneficial compounds, minus the THC. All products are processed in a GMP-certified facility. Some of their products are further processed known as nanoemulsion that transforms it into nano-sized particles that increase its bioavailability. According to their website, Joy Organics’ nanoemulsion formulations are four times more bioavailable than other water-soluble CBD oils.
